Jobs Lost, Jobs Gained: workforce transitions in an age of automation’

    McKinsey Global Institute report 2017

    Tuesday 12 February 2019

    17.45 - 20.30

Brel Theatre, BSB Campus, Pater Dupierreuxlaan 1, 3080 Tervuren

    What is it?

The British School of Brussels (BSB), in partnership with the British and American Chambers of Commerce, Belgium, is hosting an Expert Panel discussion that will address this topical and important subject. It will be targeted at the future workforce (16 – 18 year olds), who will be hugely impacted by these changes. We will consider how the workforce will change in the future, the skills and knowledge the next generation will need for a successful career and which industries and/or jobs are most likely to be affected and how. The role of education and how it needs to embrace this change will also be discussed.

For attendees external to BSB: If you have a 16 -18 year old child, or a student or trainee in your workplace, please bring them along.

    Why BSB?

BSB is a highly successful and innovative international learning community that focuses on preparing its students for a competitive, fast changing world. As part of its delivery of a rich and varied education, the school has developed a programme that provides opportunities for young people to engage with professionals from all backgrounds and sectors.
